Born and raised in Edmonton and now based in Calgary, Adrian de Vries began pressing buttons in 2013 after discovering that there was an output for his years of digging for music. After being picked up by Edmonton’s Night Vision in 2014 he went on to share bills with Jimpster, Pezzner, Psychemagik, Cyril Hahn, Doorly, Sabo and more. He made his festival debut in 2014 and has since played The Downtown Defrost, Modeste Gathering, Astral Harvest, Zion Noiz, Odyssey Gathering, Neon Jungle, Version, and Timelapse.

An adv_recreation set spans the sonic spectrum with sounds from sweet to moody, and dark to dancey. Leaning towards house, breakbeat, and the resurgence of garage, you can expect a quick a pace and outer space to be a common theme. So bring some shades and get ready for some advanced recreation.
